Sounds fun! I hadn't heard of Scanners before, so thank you for posting. And really looking forward to beginning working through The Artist's Way via your blog next week.

Is it ok if I also say that anyone interested in stitching, recycling and all-round craftiness might also want to know about my business, The Make Lounge, in London. :)

The Scanner's Meeting sounded great, Suzy. I've got 'living in the south envy' as I think of all those creative, interesting people getting together on a regular basis. About 100 years ago when I used to go Clubbing on a regular basis the cool people who hung around the bar area where known as 'bar fly's. As for someone who pearch's themself directly on the bar - just sheer class! I'm sure you'll be on a high for the rest of the week as it sounds like you did brilliantly.

Thanks so much Suzy for your inspiring talk at the scanners event. We all felt you 'hit the nail on the head' with the way we are and what we are constantly searching for in this life (I especially loved the part about 'if i just create this or if i just take on this massive venture everything will be o.k...or will it?) Everyone was so lovely at the event and most of all we had lots of fun too!
Make Lounge looks fantastic Jennifer- we all seem to be on this great crafty vibe here!!
Anyone wanting to join in our sewing circle on Saturday we will catch you at Greenwich market from 11am!!
Lots of love Libby Rose xxxxx
